Beyond the Fifth is built on open work by other people. This page lists each piece and its licence.
alphaTab
The band is played by alphaTab, copyright 2025 Daniel Kuschny and contributors, under the MPL-2.0 licence. The licence text is at https://www.mozilla.org/MPL/2.0/ and ships with the alphaTab package.
Bravura
alphaTab sets musical symbols in Bravura, copyright 2015 Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH, with Reserved Font Name "Bravura". It is under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (OFL), whose text ships with the font as Bravura-OFL.txt.
The sounds
The band's sounds ship as one file, beyond-the-fifth.sf3, built from the three sources below. All three were cut down and compressed to fit it, and the drums were moved to the General MIDI keys. Each licence ships beside the file.
The bass and the muted and distorted guitars come from MuseScore General 0.2 under the MIT licence. It was adapted by S. Christian Collins from FluidR3Mono by Michael Cowgill, itself from FluidR3 by Frank Wen.
The clean guitar is FSBS Electric Guitar Clean from the FreePats project, https://freepats.zenvoid.org/, under the CC0 1.0 public domain dedication.
The drums are MuldjordKit by Lars Muldjord, https://www.drumgizmo.org/, in the version assembled for FreePats, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence.
Anton and Bitter
The headings are set in Anton and the text in Bitter. Both are served by Google Fonts, https://fonts.google.com/, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (OFL). The licence text is at https://openfontlicense.org/.
